For rum

When drinking rum straight, it is best to choose a glass that will showcase the aroma and flavor of this spirit. Among the most popular rum glasses are the Glencairn model glasses with a tulip shape and a wide bowl that tapers towards the top. This glass is usually used for whiskey tasting, but is also a great choice for sipping rum. The shape of the glass helps to concentrate the aroma of the rum, and the narrow opening at the top helps to direct the aroma towards the nose. Rum can also be served from glasses of other shapes. It is crucial to choose a glass that will allow you to fully experience the aroma and taste of the rum.

With alcoholic beverages, glasses can have a huge impact on what the final effect will be when consuming the drinks. Therefore, it is important which glass we choose when serving certain spirits, wines and champagnes.
