Organic aged Prosenik cheese is the most prestigious product from Ekosirarna Kukenberger. Made from locally produced organic A2 hay milk, it undergoes carefully controlled maturation for at least 12 months. The long ageing process allows it to develop a rich flavour, a distinctive and clean aroma, and a slightly crumbly texture that melts pleasantly in the mouth.

Its golden-brown colour is accompanied by gentle piquancy, delicate citrus notes and an exceptionally long finish. For the best tasting experience, the cheese should be served at room temperature.

It pairs beautifully with full-bodied white wines, nuts with a touch of honey, lightly smoked trout, dark wholegrain bread and slightly bitter preserves. Its refined character makes it an excellent centrepiece for a carefully prepared cheese board.
