Tomintoul
Merlot Wine Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky 0,7l

Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky Merlot Wine Cask Finish. This small batch bottling of Tomintoul has been created by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels which are then married and finished in hand selected. Merlot wine barrels from the Bordeaux region, France. This process of "finishing" creates a beautifully rich, complex and full-flavoured single malt. Aromatic notes of fruit blossom and summer berries mixed with cinnamon buns, acacia honey and candied peels. Sweet layers of Morello cherry jam, summer pudding and redcurrant jam cusioned with tabacco spices and cocoa powder. Cosy cake spices and cappuccino foam fading into almond fingers and toasted pecans.
