Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tawny Port Cask Finish. This small batch bottling of Tomintoul has been created by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels which are then married and finished in hand selected Tawny Port barriques from Portugal. This process of "finishing" creates a beautifully rich, complex and full-flavoured single malt. Indulgent berry fruits, bramble jam and dark chocolate cushioned with nutmeg and cherry liqueur. A wash of blackcurrants, blueberries and black forest gateau bound with cosy oak spices and mocha coffee. Maraschino cherries and thick cut marmalade fading into a clove and cinnamon linger.
