Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky White Port Cask Finish. This small batch bottling of Tomintoul has been created by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels which are then married and finished in hand selected. White Port barriques from Portugal. This process of "finishing" creates a beautifully rich, complex and full-flavoured single malt. Tangy stone fruits and lychees mingled with lemon drizzle cake, vanilla pod and ginger biscuits. Layers of apricot Danish, poached pears and tarte Tatin bound with black coffee, buttery malt and baking spices. Sweet amd warming with notes of swiss roll and strawberry trifle fading into mocha and toasted nuts.
