Brandulin White Pinot wine
Origin: Slovenia
Year: 2020
VARIETY OF GRAPES: Pinot Blanc
CHARACTERISTICS: The color is a medium deep golden yellow. The flower is more discreet, at first quite closed, but in the background we find fruity perceptions. A medium-bodied, dry wine, fairly warm, the character in the mouth is a bit cloying at first. Time helps it to form into a beautiful, tasty Pinot Blanc that immediately tells you where it's from. Serving temperature: 12 ˚C
ABOUT THE WINNER: They are a family vineyard and wine farm. They cultivate 4.5 hectares of vineyards, some of which are on the Italian side of the border. Mostly white varieties, typical of this area, dominate, and from the reds some Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, last year they also planted black Rebula vines. They have been engaged in viticulture for several generations, and they started their own wine production in the late eighties. We try to produce wine with an emphasis on the territory - mainly from indigenous varieties such as Rebula, Tokaj and Malvasia.
