CHARACTERISTICS: Slovenian vineyard and wine farm. They cultivate 4.5 hectares of vineyards, some of which are on the Italian side of the border. The white varieties typical of this area predominate, with a few Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon reds. They have been engaged in viticulture for several generations. They produce wine with an emphasis on the territory - mainly from indigenous varieties such as Rebula, Tokaj and Malvasia. Serving temperature: 12-14 ˚C

ABOUT THE WINNER: They are a family vineyard and wine farm. They cultivate 4.5 hectares of vineyards, some of which are on the Italian side of the border. Mostly white varieties, typical of this area, dominate, and from the reds some Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, last year they also planted black Rebula vines. They have been engaged in viticulture for several generations, and they started their own wine production in the late eighties. We try to produce wine with an emphasis on the territory - mainly from indigenous varieties such as Rebula, Tokaj and Malvasia.
