CHARACTERISTICS: Guštin's Malvasia Fresh 2021 is a fresh, aromatic wine and represents the continuation of the new philosophy of Vina Guštin, where stylistic profiling is evident. As with the Fresh 2020 vintage, the grapes come from a vineyard near Osek. It is the location that gives it a special fresh and mineral taste.The wine fermented spontaneously at low temperatures and matured for half a year in stainless steel containers. A wine of variety, freshness and a long aftertaste, where the perception of variety is finely intertwined with the freshness and minerality of the taste.Malvasia is harvested at normal maturity. The grapes are ground in the cellar and not macerated. The wine maturation process takes place in stainless steel containers with minimal addition of sulphur. It is then lightly filtered and bottled.

ABOUT THE WINNER: Guština's wines are a harmony of the sunny location of the Biljen hills and the fresh air from the hinterland of the Trnov Forest. It is like the song of the gleaners picking the golden clusters.
