Non-alcoholic wine Masso Antico Rosso
Origin: Italy
GRAPE VARIETY: Primitivo
CHARACTERISTICS: on the nose, notes of red fruits such as strawberry and cherry appear, while on the palate the wine shows good structure with delicate tannins and a long finish. It goes perfectly with roasted meats, pasta with tomato-based sauces and aged cheeses.
VINIFICATION: After the Primitivo grape harvest in Puglia, the red wine is produced, with a 10-day maceration of the skins between alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation. After stabilization, the wine is dealcoholized using membrane technology: thanks to advanced technology, the wine passes through selective membranes that gently separate water and alcohol, fully preserving its structure and aromas. The alcohol is then removed through a distillation column, and the water is reintroduced into the wine.
ABOUT THE WINEMAKER: winemakers Daniele Ress and Carlo Filippi follow the entire production process with passion. Thanks to their extensive knowledge of the many terroirs and climates throughout the country, Masso Antico wines are an excellent reflection of the land in which they are grown. Masso Antico wines are produced by the Italian Schenk winery, founded in 1952 and one of the leading producers and exporters of Italian wines. Two winemakers, five oenologists and highly qualified staff take care of the entire production process. Long-term partnerships with a number of carefully selected grape growers across Apulia mean that the best fruit is selected to make Masso Antico wines.
