CHARACTERISTICS: This is a full-bodied semi-sweet wine that has an intense golden yellow color. The aroma is fine, muscat, ripe, full, rich and sweet. The fullness of taste in the mouth is even greater, as the nutmeg flavor is accompanied by notes of apricots and dried figs. It creates one long finish of overripe muscat. Food recommendation: sharp cheddar, Roquefort cheeses, hazelnuts, walnuts, roasted venison, pepperoni, spicy sausage, roasted pork shoulder, tuna, salmon, oregano, sage, BBQ, heavy red sauces, black forest cake, rhubarb, coffee desserts

ABOUT THE WINNER: Their story begins in 1972 in a small village near Slovenska Bistrica. At that time, 3,000 Sauvignon and Laški Riesling vines were planted on part of the estate, which later became the basis for the pride of Styria - Ritoznojčan PTP wine. With the ever-increasing demand for wine, the solution was very simple - increase the quantity of wine and raise its quality. They restored the existing vines and added a new plantation, Laški Riesling, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Blue Pinot, Yellow Muscat and Gray Pinot varieties, a total of ten thousand vines.
