GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Laški Riesling

CHARACTERISTICS: golden yellow wine with a dense texture and a distinct, elegant bouquet. The aroma reveals notes of ripe yellow apple, pear, quince, lemon peel and yellow stone fruit, intertwined with delicate shades of linden blossom, chamomile, wild herbs and dry grass. Subtle mineral notes appear in the background, emphasizing freshness and varietal recognition. In the mouth, the wine is full-bodied, soft and balanced, with distinct fruitiness, beautiful freshness and mineral tension. A long, clean and elegant finish emphasizes the harmony between the aromatic complexity, structure and character of Laški Riesling.

VINIFICATION: whole grape pressing, at low pressures. Fermentation takes place in wooden containers. The wine matures in barriques and 500L barrels on coarse lees for one year. After bottling, it matures in the cellar for another six months.

WINEMAKER DESCRIPTION: Three generations work on the Hlade farm, and the vineyards are located at the junction of Slovenske gorice and Kozjak. The favorable microclimate allows for the production of top-quality wines, and they have been involved in integrated grape production since 2002. Hlade wines reflect extensive experience, dedication and respect for nature.
