CHARACTERISTICS: Cherry color with chestnut edges. Livius Garnacha from Bodegas Alvia is an intense and aromatic red wine from Rioja. This Spanish top wine literally explodes with the aroma of red fruit. Soon after, elegant flavors such as cocoa and tobacco develop, surprising the nose and palate. Then the smell of raspberries wafts into the nose. The overall taste is fresh, but at the same time round and full-bodied. And then the fresh and harmonious taste is dominated by pleasant aromas of red and dark berries. Finally, notes of chocolate, vanilla and licorice take over the taste in a long and persistent finish. All in all, a good roasted red wine from Rioja!

ABOUT THE WINEMAKER: Located on the Camino de Santiago, their winery uses a completely artisanal process to produce wines from their own vineyards that are over 100 years old. Harvesting is done by hand in small crates, so that the grapes arrive in the cellar in optimal conditions and thus maintain the appropriate quality for the production of their wines. With this passion and care, they offer two ranges of wines with different characteristics, but with the same spirit of respect for the vine as the origin of all exceptional wines.
